How do I become a Mason?

Interested in Becoming a Mason?

To petition for membership in Highlands Lodge #86 (or any Masonic Lodge in Colorado), you must meet the following basic requirements:

• Be a man, at least 18 years of age

• Believe in a Supreme Being

• Be of good moral character

• Have a sincere desire for self-improvement

• Be committed to making a positive difference in your community

In addition, we must know you personally for at least six months, or you must be referred by a Mason who has known you for that length of time and is willing to recommend you.

If you already know a Mason, we encourage you to speak with him about Freemasonry and what it means to be a Brother. You are welcome to petition any Lodge in Colorado, and a Mason you know can help guide you through the process.
